Follow the path through the dunes and you’ll reach the sea the same way you’d walk or cycle to Strandpaviljoen De Zeespiegel.
Prefer to drive? Head to Noordwijk aan Zee for the promenade, or to Nederzandt for a quieter stretch of sand.

These are our favourite local spots for beach drinks, coffee, casual meals and easy take-away during your stay.
Strandpaviljoen De Zeespiegel - Reward yourself after a walk through the dunes or a day at the beach. This relaxed beach pavilion is only reachable by foot or bike, which makes it feel more special.
Bij De Duinen - Just across the road from the holiday park. Comfy lounge pillows, a sunny terrace, and the perfect spot for an afternoon drink. Open all day, with freshly baked bread available to take home in the morning.
Como & Co - A relaxed café right on the Oosterduinse Plas, often called the ‘Lake Como’ of Noordwijkerhout. Perfect for coffee, cake or a casual lunch. A lovely stop during a bike ride or for a slow morning by the water.
Langs Berg en Dal - A cozy local pancake restaurant. In the Netherlands, we don’t just eat pancakes for breakfast but also have them for dinner! A fun and easy option, especially with kids.
Toko Dapur Indonesia - My favorite food in town. A small Indonesian takeaway with very flavorful dishes. Try their ‘rijsttafel’. The portions are generous and the owners are very friendly.
de Voliere - Open all day, with a lovely terrace overlooking the water. Perfect for coffee or lunch, but also consider it if you’re in the mood for a more refined dinner or celebrating something special.
Schuitemaker Visrestaurant - A local favorite for fresh seafood in Katwijk. Try a typical Dutch herring, or crispy kibbeling with ravigotte sauce. Perfect for takeaway, but you can also dine in.
